Welcome back to scientific journal’s blog! From now, I’m Maisarah, will update this blog and continue doing Natasha’s task. ok, what is the current progress about our journal publication? is it ok or not? what ever it is, our aim is to publish papers. so, our responsibilities to make sure we will achieved it.
For all mentors, what happen to all your mentee’s paper? if they are not interested anymore, you don’t have choice, you have to continue their papers….ok! due date for submit full paper is 17th July 2009…..bear in mind…..
oh, one more thing, if anyone have any problems regarding to our journal publication, let me know k….tq

There are a few IMPORTANT announcements to be made here. So, please pay extra attention to this post okay
1) The date of the Seminar (previously, I’ve mentioned it as conference) is tentatively postponed to 7th May 2009. However, the date will be reconfirmed later.
2) This seminar is held as a practice for UG students to present during their final thesis presentation. Therefore, all UG students under Dr. Hamdi’s and Pn.Bushroa’s supervision are compulsory to attend and present your thesis.
3) Paper submission –> all UG students must submit their full journal-like paper to their mentors latest on 11th April 2009.
4) All mentors must submit complete (final + edited) journal-like papers to me latest on 30th April 2009.
5) All other details regarding the seminar will be updated later.
6) All mentors –> please submit ur students’ experimental details to me latest on 7th March 2009 by email. Please remind ur students to submit this part of their journal paper to you by this week.

This is the list of infos that all mentors need to inform their mentees, so, you guys please take note:
1) About the 2nd briefing.
2) Explain the Gantt chart to them (each of them got one copy of the Gantt chart (UG
part only) on the 1st briefing).
(*Amendment of the Gantt chart – they need to submit Conclusion & Abstract on
the 14th week (final week of March), instead of on the 15th week as can be seen
in the Gantt chart)
3) They need to submit 1 journal/conference paper.
4) 1 UG conference will be held on 13th April 2009 (applicable only for Dr.Hamdi’s and
Pn.Bushroa’s students)
5) The paper submission and conference participation are compulsory to all of them,
there’re some marks allocated.
6) Remind them – they need to submit the Title & Introduction part to you the latest
on the 3rd week of February
–> I’ll closely monitor each of your (mentor-mentee) progress.

I’ve figured out some confusion about who need to submit what, n which category are you in..so, let me make it clear here…
If you refer to the Gantt Chart I emailed you before, in the first section (for RA), I divided it into 2 different categories. OK, you can refer your name below to confirm in which category you are in:
UG students (Mentors)

Own research & previous UG paper

5. Mentors (yg saya tulis nama die kat ats tu) who want to submit paper based on your own research (selain paper UG students yg awak sumer monitor tu), can also be in this category (so, maknanya anda akan ada more than 1 journal paper = UG student + own research)
The datelines for these 2 categories are different, so, I hope you can refer to the Gantt chart to ensure which date you have to follow. Any other confusion, please let me know k
